Book Scoops
branding, website design, & development
The semester-long project for my Mobile and Responsive Design course at Stevenson University required the development of a fully responsive website for a new business. Thus, Book Scoops was born, an innovative store that doubles as a bookseller and an ice cream shop. Over the course of a few months, I invented a logo and branding system, sketched wireframes for possible layout solutions, created low-fidelity and high-fidelity prototypes for all site pages and breakpoints, and coded my design using HTML, CSS, and the Bootstrap framework. The site features a colorful palette with bright, bold colors, multiple card grids of popular books, a gallery of branded pint containers that the store sells, and an embedded Google map.
