AIGA Stevenson

website design & development

As a requirement for the Stevenson University Honors Program, I engaged in a Contract Project, a self-directed Honors-caliber piece of work in an upper-level course. I chose to design a website for Stevenson’s branch of AIGA (the professional design association) in my Web Design II course in fall of 2020. Throughout the semester I gathered copy and assets, prototyped designs, hand-coded, and tested my site, which would be used by future AIGA officers and Graphic Design students. This responsive website has mobile, tablet, and desktop versions and includes pages that allow site visitors to learn about the club, stay updated on events, and join the email list. In addition to actually coding an entire website that would be launched for real use, a large part of the project was communicating with the other officers on a regular basis to develop the content.
