SOD Faculty Profiles

The main project during my internship for the Dean of the Stevenson University School of Design was a poster series to highlight the faculty of the School. These posters would be a way for students to learn more about their professors and for visitors who want to get acquainted with the faculty members. After researching similar campaigns at other universities, sketching layout options, contacting professors about content, and playing around with over ten separate iterations of the poster design, I finished with three posters; one for each of the first three faculty members being highlighted. This solution displays a consistent theme across the series, with similar palettes (lime green and two additional colors), enlarged quotation marks, a black and white portrait, an organic background shape, a dot pattern, and matching hierarchies on each poster. I expanded this project by creating an example Instagram carousel post of what the posters would look like if adapted for social media.
